Louisiana

Primary Responsibilities

  • Verify ownership of immovable property after analyzing property assessments, vesting deeds, succession records, and other applicable documentation.
  • Draft legal opinions on ownership rights.
  • Use public records to research land titles and analyze applicable instruments.
  • Manage a high file volume.

Requirements

  • Bar license required in the State of Louisiana.

Compensation

  • Salary $50,000–$55,000

Qualifications

  • Bar license in the State of Mississippi.
  • Spanish-speaking a bonus!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Examine and verify chain of property title based on abstract report.
  • Examine deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, easements, and plats/maps to determine ownership and encumbrances.
  • Verify and correct property legal descriptions; search court records to remedy errors in chain of title.
  • Draft legal transactional documents; prepare property reports and title commitments.

Closing Specialist

Covington, LA

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of case management or closing processor experience.
  • Qualia experience a plus; government program experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Open and close residential purchase files; manage contracts from open to close.
  • Order title searches and obtain lien satisfactions; prepare and understand title policies.
  • Prepare closing statements and closing documents; record final documents by e-recording and mail.
  • Distribute post-closing disbursements with precise per-file accounting; assist with escrow reconciliation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all external parties.
